The "New Desperate Housewives"

Did anyone see the new series of Desperate Housewives? I thought it was so different to the last series. A lot has changed and a lot of questions have arose in my head such as why did this happen and who is he? The storyline has completely changed with gabrielle with two kids and Susan and Mike split up...... It's crazy!!
